Taylordaylily,

What is the website of Dancing Daylilies, I would like to take a look ...and thanks everyone for helping...I was looking at Morningstar, Daylilies by the Pond (loves Sara too, she is so sweet and helpful, loves to get Blueberry Breakfast and a couple other from her later after I see what room I have left in my flowerbeds) and Oakhill before ordered...Just happened that Oakhill got lots of daylilies that I am very interested...

Thanks,
Nan

@Hazelcrestmikeb. Shhh! I'm cured! Do you need me to send you some stuff to plant? I hear your not ordering this year. We wouldn't want you to get bored or out of practice. Rolling on the floor laughing

@Javamom. I'm happy to see Larry is a fantastic enabler. You'll have fun shopping, I mean looking at Dancing Daylilies website.
I'll let you in on a secret, Your going to keep buying daylilies even after you run out of space. Rolling on the floor laughing It's part of the disease! The good part is, you'll find homes and have a lot less grass to mow. Sad

lovemyhouse said:The Iris Forum has a sticky thread listing recommended vendors with website or contact information. Maybe something like that can be added to the Daylily Forum. Unless there already is one and I simply didn't see it. Sticking tongue out

You didn't miss a sticky for vendors...there isn't one. Smiling

If you are looking for Daylily Vendors check out The Green Pages over on the left hand side in the blue area....Once you click to enter you will see DAYLILIES in big blue letters, click the link and you will find a list of daylily vendors with contact information.

I'll save you a few clicks...here's the link directly to the daylily vendor section in The Green Pages.

Park Lane Daylies wasn't in the green pages here, so I went ahead an added it. I'm sure they'd appreciate a recommendation--I have high hopes, but I can't say anything yet as I haven't received the plants.

Thank You! That's a good idea! You can always go back and add your review after your order has arrived. I'm sure you'll be pleased.
Most daylily sellers are honest, down to earth people. Big box stores and nurseries that don't specialize in daylilies are your biggest risk. There's also this addicting place called The Lily Auction (LA).

Warning! It can be really bad for your budget, yet really fun!

@Char Do you live close to Vermont Wildflower Farm? Just curious, I buy dried Lavender from them each Winter. I would love to see their flower fields in bloom. Drooling

Off topic for a second...
Vermont Wildflower Farm is not all that far away, 1 1/2 maybe 2 hours drive. They are over on the west side of the state and a bit north of me. That would be a fun day trip! I've marked it on my calendar, maybe I can get a chance to swing over there before daylily season starts. I agree, Drooling , the fields do look amazing on their website.

Also agree about The Lily Auction, so addictive, but fun and you can get great deals on plants you didn't even know you needed.... Whistling

As awful as it sounds, my addiction is in full flower (tee hee). I've already got more coming than I planned space for, yet my wish list is growing, growing! I looked at the auction, and I can see that being entirely addicting on its own. But I better figure out how I can get the planned border dug and soil amended before I take a stab since I'll have 20 plants here tomorrow afternoon. Oh, and I've got to hire somebody to dig and border a bed for me so that I feel free to fill it up!

@Barbalee. Yes, Your situation happens to all of us. Welcome! Your probably addicted. Hilarious! You can always toss them in pots till you figure out homes.

@Hazelcrestmikeb. You could head on down to Texas with your sod cutter. Barbalee needs some sod removed. Pat and I could use some removed too, you know on your way home. It would sure be nice of you. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Edited to change me to I

Here is Charlotte's Daylily Diary website
http://daylilydiary.com/
There are lots of sellers listed here plus the state is listed on the left hand side, so you can find sellers and hybridizers that are in your area. Besides the Lily Auction this is a website that I often use, not that you wanted more daylilies. Whistling

Thank You! We may not need more daylilies but, looking and shopping gets us thru winter. Plus, It's good exercise for us when all our orders arrive the same week in Spring. Hilarious!

Personally, I always look for something new in a daylily, then remove one and replace it with a new to me daylily. While I might not need more it makes the garden exciting to have something new. Seems my preference in forms, heights and colors changes over the years.

I agree My problem is learning to kick out daylilies. How do you do that? I'm not trying to be funny. I really need to learn this aspect of daylily growing. Any tips for this hoarder of daylilies?
