It has been something like a decade since I grew blepharophylla and it wasn't this cultivar, but I have fond memories of it. For those of us in northern climes or in my case northernish climes it is a great potted plant this is easy to winter over and to propagate. It is another case of loved and lost, not realizing how good I had it, call it the folly of youth.

I grew an eyelash salvia years ago also and not this variety either. I liked it too. I had mine in a container on our patio.

FBTS sells eyelash salvias if you're interested in getting another.

This cultivar is a hybrid with likely Salvia greggii. No absolute certainty as it was a found seedling. We license it directly from the patent holder in Germany. My only caution is that it is a bit brittle, and that needs to be taken into account when siting. By a path and it is history.
