Hilarious! If I did that it would look more like Mr. Creepy Pants Rolling on the floor laughing

Well this is neat.

First picture is of MY hybrid tea that I can't remember the name of..

Crazy it's not 6 inches off the ground and has those already!

Second is of my mother's rose bush. Well one of them

Here's the punchline...... we have no idea what it is.

CLUSTERS OF WHITE all over, ideas?

She doesn't remember getting a white one ever.

Fragrant too

Are the seven leaflets on the same cane as the white bloom? If not, it could be a mix of Honor and Dr. Huey. Dr. Huey regularly sends up canes with seven leaflets. Honor should have five leaflets, but wait and see what happens.

I can too, Porkpal. That's why I'm wondering whether the cane with 7 leaflets is an interloper.

I think you may be mixing names with bushes.

Or maybe not.

The smaller one is mine, honor. 5 leaflets.

The bigger one is one of the bushes we've had for years that my mother CLAIMED it went wild. It has 7 leaflets

And here is a picture on that one this morning before I went to work.

I suspected this upon seeing the first photo, but couldn't see clearly enough to be sure. Now seeing a clearer photo I believe your mother was correct- that looks like a multiflora, probably the root stalk that Honor was grafted to.

Nono, the honor bush. The smaller one with 3 flowers. is own root stalk. I got that from heirloomroses.com

Sorry if I'm confusing you.

So, if I'm not mistaken. All 5 petal'd roses are ancestral, correct?

And sage thr weirdest thing regarding her bushes I replanted...
I was trying to fertilize them, and the bag ripped and fell into that bush accidentally. And I mean 87% of the bag in that one plant.

I thought it would of burnt it.
Nope, it's like superman in terms of growth. All of her others are nothing compared to it.

Do people actually graft stalk for species rose IF that is species rose?

And one more tidbit. When I was on vacation, I found about 20 wild rose bushes in our property. Some white and some pink.

they would appear as trees some, considering their age and dead stems

Well, here is an update regarding all of my roses.
Bouquet roses look like bushes now.
And my bushes I bought are flowering now!
What should I do with the ones that never broke wax coating fro store?
They are still alive but didn't do a thing.
