RpR,
Wow, not bad winnings! I've never stepped foot in one and not likely to. I'm not lucky in cards so I doubt I'd be lucky there either. I'm smart enough to know better, than to lose my money.
I like the way you did Christmas. I used to leave the tree and lights up too, till we took them down in freezing weather. Now the magic is gone and it's become a chore. That's how people lose the magic feeling.

Ginger,
No. I didn't see a link to it on your page. Maybe link me here? I'd love to see emu pictures!

Ken,
Wow! 16 tubs! I didn't count various sized boxed, but I have enough! Since I took mine down the day after Christmas it seems like it's been forever. The lights came down shortly after.

Ronnie,
''I said I'll be laughing at the rest of them when they are out doing it in the cold weather that is coming back quickly.''
Same thing said here.

Susan,
Love Christmas in July!

I'm thankful we haven't had a blizzard or way below zero temps.

I am thankful that I do Not have dry socket where my tooth was pulled, in Dec. I went to a dentist close to home, to check my mouth - I was really concerned and voiced my concern to my surgeon's office
However, that being said, because it was suspected, my knee surgeon moved my left knee replacement from Jan 13 to Jan 23. This gives us another 10 days to prep our home, and it's really coming along inside Thumbs up
I'm really thankful that it's not that much further away in time, and it gives us just that much more time Hurray!

I am thankful for a carbon tax refund that's apparently in the mail to us. We'll get about $300. Thumbs up
We've paid a tax on all our "carbon emissions", and now we "low income" people (they say 60% of Albertans are low income - what's that tell you?!?!) will get a full refund.
We'll get it twice this year, and next year we'll get it increased. Blinking

I am thankful that we have managed to keep this RV afloat and not blown us up.

We are heading back to snow and I hope is is stable driving. Snow in NC is a big thing ..the roads not so hot and people don't drive well in the stuff.

Florida weather 9 percent great an thankful for that too!

Thankful for RVing Canadians who have been so helpful and friendly ..they are not always loved ere...take up a lot of roadway and cause carowding for the locals. I guess great for the economy tho.
Don't squat with yer spurs on!

People try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved

Just took him to his follow-up this morning and he's doing great. Said his pain level is at a 2. He only had a partial so that is definitely easier, but he's working hard on the physical therapy (said he wished he had worked harder at the before exercises Whistling Whistling Whistling Whistling ). It would have helped some of the stretching exercises he's doing now (especially the back of the knee where he had been limping and the muscles were tight). All in all, doing great! Down to a cane only and no walker Hurray! Hurray!
