Just started watching The Shannara Chronicles. Interesting so far. Will see how it goes further. It does remind me of Lord of the Rings somehow.

Have not really been watching much lately other then following containment which has been decent. More time reading , just finished End of Watch and thought it was very good. Also saw that they have begun the remake of IT which they are doing as 2 movies. The first being from the children"s point of view and a second as adult"s.

Binge watching as always in Netflix: watched Best of Me last night...nice and sweet sadness. I was also watching Backtrack starring Adrian Brody last night, I feel asleep..so repeated it this morning, it is interestingly nice, paranormal/suspense.

So trying to find something else to watch, and came across To The Ends of The Earth - stars Benedict Cumberbatch, always love his shows, so something to enjoy for now!

Sally, binge watching does take its toll

I watched a very good documentary on HBO GO about the controversial (at that time) photographer, Robert Mapplethorpe: A Look at the Pictures. His life was so interesting. He was Gay before being Gay was acceptable. He was a struggling, talented photographer who typically got rich only after he died.

I had to Google. Wow, he's awesome! I'll be looking at more of his stuff and my be able to catch the documentary.

Just a warning@billyporter, Mapplethorpe had X,Y,Z Photo collections. His X collections and some of his Z collections may be offensive to some. At the time, they tried to ban his shows because of them.

yup, otherwise everything would be one kind of movie - Horror, or comedy, or everything in-between, including everyone watching documentaries (or docu-dramas).
