Lee Valley have these long rubber gloves. They're less expensive than rose gloves, depends what you want to do.

I like those, @sooby. I wonder if they are lined? These are similar with cotton lining, nitrile grip, non-latex and comes in sizes.

To me the Lee Valley ones look thicker, being rubber, as far as one can tell from the pictures. You could call Lee Valley's toll free number and ask. There's a Lee Valley store near here and I can call in and have a look at them but you might need them before I'm next around there.

Long rubber gloves? Sounds like you are building a personal sauna. Smiling

Well, I am not a glove fan at all, but when I do, I do load up on lotions so that they actually do a good things to my hands a fingers. Lord knows I'm hard enough on my hands as it is!

I have a similar problem when trimming and cleaning out my decorative grasses. My arms break out horribly. My simple solution is to wear a long sleeve t-shirt and tuck the cuffs down into my regular garden gloves.
I've also used this method when working around roses, however, it doesn't prevent the occasional thorn from penetrating the fabric.

Thanks for all your crafty hints, and suggestions. I ended up ordering the Atlas brand long gloves. I have worn Atlas before and their size fits me nicely. I liked the idea of having a grip as my hands are not as grip-strong as they used to be. The cotton lining and Latex-free rubber is also a plus for me. They were about $11 from Drs. Foster and Smith. But ib ended up ordering $40 more in pet supplies that i didnt know 8 I needed to get free shipping. I really did save money that way. Lol Rolling on the floor laughing

The idea of wearing long sleeve top, a denim shirt etc., is the simplest solution. But not being a true glove-wearer, I like that I can take gloves if when I am not grabbing up an armful of allergen debris. In the summer here, it is so hot and humid, being darker-skin toned, I am actually more comfortable in less clothes, like wearing a tank top and Soffe shorts. I think I would get Heat Stroke if i wrote more than that.

I'll let you know how they work out.

Signet, I am not sure quality of material sold in banggood.com so have no idea if it cools down the skin or just makes it too hot, I guess the intent is more to protect the skin from scratches. But the ones I buy at Daiso is made of cotton so it cools down and protects the skin nicely.
