Really do look pretty good but if you look at the top that is where you can really see how much they need it.

The regularity and similarity of shapes makes me think of a small army of Daleks (*).

Thank you for the lesson on Dr. Who and his daleks. I had never heard of or expect to hear of them ever again. Not that I think the worse of people who enjoy robotic villains. Rolling my eyes. We tell people we sell Happy Trees because they are all so beautiful and represent the joyous season of Christmas to most Christians. It also makes the kids happy when we use pictures of trees dancing and playing and smiling. That is what Christmas time means to us in this world today and hopefully will remain a safe and happy time in the future. I would hate to try and trim a dalek with balls and garlands. If you find one already trimmed please send it to me. I will add it to my clip art file.
I must admit I enjoy learning new things and thanks again for introducing me to the daleks.

Ha ha -- I, too, had never heard of daleks (no clue how to pronounce that) but do see the similarity.

And:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?...

The "real" Dalek's trademark was to intone "Exterminate! Exterminate!" as they motored around vaporizing things.

I think these Christmas Daleks should intone things like: "Decorate! ... Celebrate!" as they roll around offering people mugs of eggnog.

Very good Rick, I copied a few of those and will use them on our page in Facebook. I may even give you the credit for finding them for me. Now I know what a Delak is and the many uses of the same. Thumbs up

You are never too old to learn, here I am 87 years old almost 88 and I have just learned a very important bit of information that I am sure I will never use again, but I at least now I know it. I do appreciate your teaching me this because I am sure it is something I would not have wanted to go to my grave not knowing. Rolling on the floor laughing Group hug Lovey dubby My sincere thanks. If you have any more little bits like this feel free to let me know if they pertain to Christmas Trees.

I was a startrek fan many years ago when it first came out but now I am more into NCIS , MADAM SECRETARY AND GOOD WIFE.

I also like BlueBlood....All the good old shows are my favorites. MASH was one that I must have seen and still watch at times when I just need to get away from the news. I just loved that show. I also get depressed watching all my favorites on old movies and thinking the actors are all dead and I am now older than they were. Sighing!

A month has passed and we are now almost finished trimming the trees for Christmas Season. Now they look like Christmas Trees.
These are the smaller trees all trimmed and ready.

This has been such a warm summer they really grew fast and loved it. Seems funny that a Christmas tree would love hot weather doesn't it? @Dave you may want to show your children the difference before and after trimming of a Christmas Tree.
We trim each one by hand and there are over a thousand trees. It takes weeks to do it properly.

Those are really lovely xmas trees. I am trying to keep some trees trimmed between us and the neighbors below us - mainly to not steal all their sun but still have a visual barrier rather than to actually harvest trees, so my methods are a bit more haphazard.

The last two pictures are younger trees than those above, as you can see.

That is a very old tree and we take very good care of it and its mate so we can keep them for awhile. Pray no storms take more of it away. That is the problem. The storms and hurricanes play havoc with them.

I was hoping you knew what kind of tree it is. It is unusually large!
