Thanks. Whenever I have an area that needs something ( but I never know what ) I will take a photo and make black and white..it really helps me identify the space without the distractions. It is too late noe to do much. Hot and buggy. I hope more post photos here so we can see ideas and appreciate the hard work and sweat ....just to get peaceful! 😊

I agree I love what you've done, Rosie. That is a great idea to turn photos to black and white for clarity! I'm all for hardscaping. It makes things easier on us, and lets us concentrate on fewer plants. The glass mulch will be beautiful. I wish someone in my area would do it. Our area quit recycling glass, so now it goes in the landfill. Sad I could break and tumble my own but it would take forever to get a nice bunch of it.

I know. There is a place in Washington state that does that. I visited and bought some, but it's too expensive to buy as much as I'd like! I'd take a truckload!

You are so lucky! That is a great price. I'm not sure my husband would want to drive to NC to get it! We do have friends we could visit in Thomasville. Rolling my eyes.

If you remember, please let me know when the construction is done. Do you have to show proof of residency to get the glass?

No... they never ask me. If you needed it, I could go with you. I will tell you this..it hoses off nice and sparkly..with landscape fabric under...it does not sink nor decompose. It is a great mulch. I dont pluck weeds off it. In arizona yiunwiukd not have the ine probkem Imhave..moss lives it..maybe because it is warm in the sun??? Of course if i were you I would check all the recycles from there to here and save yourself a lot of miles and expenses.

True, I'll have to see if any other state does that. I have used my seaglass that way, but didn't use the landscape cloth, and it all sank into the soil. I'll have to remember to line it first.

I think AZ is just too dry. We don't ever get moss anywhere. My sister in Washington has moss everywhere, including covering her home and driveway. They have to power wash everything several times a year. It is a pain to have humidity like that.
