Jasmine, I'll put the lettuce leaf basil with the lemon basil

Seedrat, I'll add a sage seedling to the other items for you.

Very excited for tomorrow. Fingers crossed that the rain holds out.

Thanks, RolRod. Sat morning it is. I will bring you the plants after swimming. I'll get your address from you tomorrow. In this case, tomorrow, I can probably fit all the rest in my car and make only one trip. If not, I will just come back home for the rest.

Oerickson, I'll bring a roll of plastic sheet for the tables and another set of miniblinds. I'll swing by to drop off tiger lilies on the way to the swap and help you load your car.

So excited to see you all again. Hurray!

pitimpinai, thanks for thinking of me with the anemone. But it was the tall, fall blooming Japanese kind I was thinking of, like Honorine Jobert or similar. I have Robustissima but I am hoping for other colors. But thank you anyway!

Pitimpinai, I'm interested in those white anemones. I got some anemones last year but nothing has bloomed white.

I've been running like a nut - I can bring your Stella's & Red Mondarda to your house - we can talk at the swap. The clay soil comes form my sister in Glenview, so I will have to dig that out & drop off.

Yes, I'm sorry I missed you too! I was able to get some clumps up for you. If do want some clay soil, I will get it from my sister's place. She lives in Glenview. Let me know, I could plan a day when to dig, bucket and drop at your house on my way into the city.

If you want any more Stella's just holler, I have more to thin out. Ditto for Hosta Alba.

Hope Ellen got homes for all her babies!

Ellen thank you so much for the plants (Euphorbia and pink primrose). I had pink primrose last year and saw one pink flower too but it looks it did not return this year so not sure if it is hardy in our zone. Thank you so much for yet another great swap. Thank you for helping me to find some good tomato plants.

seedrat, I am so sorry I forgot to check if Linnea brought stuff before I left. She was suppose to bring bulbs and pot luck phlox. Thank you so much for all the goodies. Can't wait to plant them. It rained very heavily last night. It was good that there were no rain at the time of swap.

Thank you so much pitimpinai for lamium and helping me find the Leucojum. I am so excited to get it from you.

Thank Linnea, Happy and others who brought plants for me. Can't wait to plant them.

Thank you so much to everyone for the beautiful plants, delightful conversation, delicious food, and lovely music. I am looking forward to a weekend filled with gardening. I forgot that as much as I enjoy the swap, I almost like the next morning even more. I love waking up and researching the plants that I brought home and planning their place in the garden. I'm already counting the days until next year's swap!

Thanks to everyone who brought things for me, I'm really excited about the new additions to my yard!

Pitimpinai my friends think that plant was Heracleum maximum, cow parsnip, (which I think is what Serena said) and the wiki article states it's also known as "Indian Rhubarb"--a-ha!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...

I didn't burn but my legs got a bit browner. I know I sprayed the most-likely-to-burn spots but I didn't do my entire legs so I was lucky I didn't get some burn. My hat is ridiculously large but I don't have to use sunblock on my face, hooray!

I've been using a pedometer app on my phone and it says I walked 7 miles yesterday. I'm not sure whether I can believe that or if it experienced a glitch.

The rain that came after dark was terrible and I'm so glad we weren't hit with it during the swap!
Oerickson I feel bad for staying huddled in my car on the phone when you two came back for the last items. My friend who never calls me was feeling very needy and I sat in that parking lot on the phone for a LONG time!
I'm still trying to identify the plant with the brown lacy, ferny foliage, does it have a white flower or yellow?

Jqsen, I'm sorry you didn't make it to the swap, we had plants for you!

I do like how at 6pm we decided if we hadn't heard from someone, the plants went on the regular tables. Most of them found homes that way!

Ellen, would it be convenient for you if I stop by at your place tomorrow or on Monday evening to pick up the bulbs Linnea brought for me. Do you have pot luck phlox too? If you can leave them in front of your house with my name on it that would also be fine so that I can pick them up without bothering you. Please let me know.

jqsen was there. I gave my plants to her.

Lineea, I read your post yesterday that you were running late and later before leaving the swap I totally forgot to check if you were there and I missed my goodies. I am really sorry. Hope you got the plants I left for you.

Aww, I didn't know jqsen made it! Pitimpinai had a bunch of plants for her, and I brought a couple. I think Linnea did as well.

I forgot to say before, but Linnea, thanks for posting that you'd be coming a bit later but that you were still coming :)
And I hope it was OK that your galium and ageratum were in water, I dug them Thursday and didn't want them to "collapse"

HappyGardener, remember how I mentioned I accidentally potted your lemon balm with the perennial ageratum. The lemon balm has a square stem and will smell lemony when bruised. The ageratum has a round stem. Don't feel bad about composting the ageratum if you don't want it.

Just so we know to plan for next year, when the tablecloths were thrown out, does anyone remember if the table signs were thrown out too?

Pitimpinai, what if...we found vinyl tablecloths with elastic all around, like a fitted bedsheet, that would just stretch over those church tables? Setup would be faster, then someone could bring them home and hose them off. I don't know if these exist but they should! I know the tables are a couple of different sizes so that may be an important consideration.
Also, did you notice that my second cluster of leucojum disappeared? No one asked about it, it was just gone! I wondered if since you knew I was OK with someone else getting them you told them to take it, or was someone cheeky enough to just grab it?

I DID get some sunburn yesterday, on my calves. I didn't feel it during last night's shower but tonight it really stung. WHY didn't I just spray everything?

As usual I felt like I was taking as much as I brought, since we just toss finds into our cars and my car filled up. But today I moved it all into my smaller car and I definitely did get rid of more than I took, whew! I counted up how many labels I printed and got 180, but as you know some of my things were tiny, like my special bonsai tomato plants ;)
