Liz, Pastelegance is definitely on my list for next year. Will have to see what other new peonies will be offered at Solaris in 2017.

Ah shucks. I promise to share. *Blush* I can only afford one or at the most two so would really like them to be ones I really really really (is that enough 'realys'') want. nodding

Course by the time I get through drooling and looking at all the offerings the one/ones I want might be gone. So guess it would be best to preview on Dec 31, choose, then dive in and buy.

Gosh, I hope I don't sound as acquisitive as I sound. lol Yup. The two 'sounds' aren't typos

Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing love your sense of humour, Mary! Don't worry about competition from me. I have set my budget quite low so I won't be much of a threat to you. Though if there is something that catches my eye, I may go all in that one plant. Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious!

It has no name yet Mary, the tag indicates seeding NB-H79. It is a beauty, I'd grab it when it becomes available nodding

I also wouldn't say that any peony we thought was great in the field will for sure be selected. Nate is picky and several pretty faces he mentioned were not moving forward, many of them yellows.

But is Kopper King better than "Souvenir du Maxime Cornu" ? Their colors looks similar to me.

Proven stronger grower in the north. Nicer color, more definitive. The flower form itself is looser on Kopper King. The plant structure is good too. Also more floriferous.
Really a beautiful specimen.
