Thanks Neal. I realized after I took that picture I was missing another MTB in the garden, Second Opinion. Then I remembered someone took the rhizomes I had dug during my re-arranging/down-sizing last year! All I found was one little fan growing by itself- but at least I still have it and it grows well. So not a total loss! This is what it looked like last year.

Glad you still have some Second Opinion, its a beauty! Love the combo of plants with it too, the coral bells are a perfect companion!

Lucy, I had a little pile of the rhizomes stacked in the shade near a batch that I had given away. I was gone at the time when these folks came to get the ones I reserved for them, and it appears they took 'Second Opinion' too. Not a big problem: They're good friends and iris lovers too, so I'm sure they will return some for me. Out here there are people we trust and those we don't: These are the trusted ones fortunately.

I love to see how it looks in a clump as well as a closeup!

both of those look nice!

That is an interesting color. I am looking for something to grow near Concertina. Pink isn't really my color but these 2 might look good together ( with a purple or some other accent maybe.)

Rust Never Sleeps - it took until year two to bloom, but it sure isn't sleeping now. It has been producing bloom upon bloom.

This looks a bit too pink, but they are sure pretty as a mini clump.

Rust Never Sleeps plays well with other colors. It would be good with a blended color iris and either dark purple or white if you wanted a small group of color.
Mine is in a long bed of mixed color.

That one went on my wish list..... thanks to all the great photos posted of it.

Viper always seems to have lots of blooms, which is a very nice thing indeed. The horns were shorter this year.

The color of the standards looks totally wrong for Delirium. Is this the first year it bloomed for you? I like this one a lot though. Maybe it is just your camera?
