I absolutely love Devil's Waltz Leslie! I'm intrigued by smoky purples.

Mine needs more space too. I have too many medians in one space and they all grew much larger than expected. Will have to move three or so to another garden.

Happy Independence Day everyone!!!

I was paid off for patience this year with this little MTB. The first one I bought rotted while I was out of town. I decided I really wanted it and ordered it again, and this time it bloomed and bloomed!

One of my favorite medians of this year - Redrock Princess:

We have lost ours so perhaps it needs a very good start to get going. It is available from Aitken's Salmon creek garden.

I was so excited to get this one last fall. I love it. The heavy rain took out some of it's buds, and I missed some of the bloom, but it kept a couple for me to see when I got home.

Mine was never as brown as most pictures, but it was also in shade much of the time. I underestimated how much shade would be cast by my Rose of Sharon.

I find I really like iris with the rounded form.

Thundery is a late bloomer but really worth the wait. It has an iridescent sheen that I couldn't quite capture in pictures. Really a lovely flower. Blyth does amazing medians so it is sad so few make it stateside.

Bonnie, I love Redrock Princess too. It is adorable.

My Iris club imported a bunch of Blyth Medians, but I didn't choose any as I didn't have a place right now to put one, Now I wish I had, I could have sent it to you. They were in pots though. Not one took any, I probably could have had several of them.

Free Blythe medians....... no one took them. There is definitely something wrong with your iris club people. Sighing!

No one? That is sad sad sad. Considering the really nice door prizes you got I can imagine that they were lovely ones. Sighing!
