I have practically given up trying to find an ID for this, so instead, have a year 2 clump shot of it. An incredible performer! Nine stalks in my church's little rock garden

I grow one called 'Little Episode' that might be a possibility. I think it's a fairly common pattern though. Pictures with different cameras and lighting. It is more purple and closer to the first picture..

Does anyone know if Beverly Sills TB has purple base foliage. This is slight but there.
Thumbs down My pinks have gotten mixed up and not even sure now if I can believe my tags. This one was off by itself in with Immortality. It was not supposed to be there Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing but i think it is BS
I have also ordered in the past. Pink Attraction and enraptured. The last one is still in its pot. I am ruling it out.

RED UNKNOWN
This , I think is in the historic category.
Maybe War Chief? We have looked at it in the past. It is robust. Definitely tall, has strong PBF.

The OTHER Pink
This pink we thought MIGHT be Enraptured. The biggest difference i have noted is the beard, while the same color, is scruffy. (Not as thick, bushy). My Enraptured I ordered as a confirmation did not bloom this year. I sure hope it matches one of my pinks! I am out of room !

Take a look at 'California Gold'
Thumb of 2024-04-25/Henhouse/e47c5d

or possibly 'Alta California'.. It can be variable with its veining.. but usually more pronounced.

Kats, the pink one you think might be Enraptured, is not the right color combo for that. To me, it looks more like Vanity.

Thanks Daisy. I do have Vanity in a separate plot all on its own. So I know it is not Vanity. I do try hard to get the light and colors right as close as I can. Cameras don't capture exactly what the eye sees. If there are any blooms left when I return I might take comparison shots. What color should enratured be. More coral?

Henhouse, thank you. I looked at Alice Harding again and I agree that I should rule that out. I just knew it shows PBF. So thats why I thought of it.

It's definitely not Enraptured. Enraptured is a tan/lavender bicolor, not a pink self with pink beards.

Enraptured:

You are quite right and I have it. Looking at so many markers and pots I got it mixed up in my head

This is a NOID that I planted last year in my side slab bed. It has 3 blooms on it this year so it must be an early MDB because none of my other SDB's are even close to sending up buds. I was very delighted to notice it. There are several others with bloom stalks starting to show. I'm not sure why these are this early. It will be interested to see what they turn out to be. This is all a NOID bed.
