I had another person send me one which is actually supposed to be Immortality that should bloom within the next few days. I will be able to compare them then.

I don't think immortality has yellow hafts or yellow beards. Immortality is pure white, with white beards that only have a little yellow tipping. It also has better form than this one.

I searched the database for white category TBs with "yellow hafts" in the color description, and yellow beard color. Only came up with a couple that were similar, but nothing totally matching. So this one may just be an unnamed seedling.

This is obviously not a white self, but a very light yellow Amoena with yellow hafts. There no matches found in my search, but there are many unpictured entries.

Here is another pic of the yellow SDB in another clump. I believe I remember trading some rhizomes with a lady in a near by town. I think she mentioned something about a yellow one. I really like it. I might mix it into a bed with these NoID purple ones.

Yes it does! Schreiner never can ID their own iris but I will give it a shot. No mans land is getting full!
The falls look larger/ broader in your photo.
But the beard is perfect with the white tip. Everything checks out with the pics on Wiki
I may end up just giving it away. For now I am marking it as La Scala. You are such a master at this!

Thanks!
Ruth

janeite06 said: I ordered this years ago and it had never bloomed, so it wasn't until yesterday that I determined it was definitely not in my "master list" of irises. I'm not sure anymore where I got it, but if anybody could offer any insights into its identity, I'd be grateful! It's about 36" tall and has little space age horns. Otherwise, very nondescript.

Regarding my ENRAPTURED NOD
There maybe some confusion. I reached out to Schrieners regarding my "Enraptured" they sent. They sayI received the correct rhizome. I am including some photos. Perhaps my unknown i wanted to ID is La Scala Maybe?
The last photo is my iris I received from Schrieners as "Enraptured". They say the Rhizome is correct.
Any thoughts? Tveguy3 thanks for your help. What do you think?
