My wish list is obscenely long... and growing. I do want to add many of Blyth's SDB's. Especially since he is retiring and the little ones he has created may not be available for much longer. I also really like some I have seen by European hybridizers. Why is the grass always greener...... but some of the EU ones are just gorgeous.

I am getting the feeling that most of the club sales are done...however, ours is later this month. If you really want something, tree-mail me and I will look for it at the sale. Most of our rhizomes are $5, but will go up to $10 if it's a new introduction.

SDB Terse Verse is a 2000 Berry Blyth introduction that is really hard to find. And I know that SDB Priwall, introduced in 1988, was sold in the US at one time but is not offered anywhere here anymore. If anyone knows a source for these two please let me know.

I know the iris club an hour away will have there's in Sept. I can go if,anyone wants and,try to,get some.

I am looking for Tobacco Road. I have not seen it anywhere. It might be in someone's garden...

Evelyn, try http://www.ozarkirisgardens.co.... They deal with a lot of historic. If they don't have it, maybe they can tell you who does. On their Facebook page it looks like they are trying to bring back some very limited ones.

Tobacco Road is being considered as extinct. The Historic Iris Preservation Society have been searching for it for years.... as many of the rest of us have.

Richard ~ They do not have it, nor does Bluebird Haven Iris Gardens or Blue J Iris. I have already looked there as well as TB Finder.

Bonnie ~ too! I realize that it is a shot in the dark, looking for that old iris. I look for it every site that I visit.

If I found it, I would grow it out and then distribute it far and wide.
