Here is Azumashibori, a red speckled flower-yellow variegated leaf Japanese developed strain of Ipomoea nil. Flowers are from this morning.

I wonder though if this flower carries a mutant gene, mine didn't do well last year either

My Ipomoea platensis have stopped blooming as frequently with this heat wave. I hope it resumes flower production when cooler weather move in over the next month.

Another bloom popped open on the Ipomoea verbascoidea tonight.

Ipomoea nil 'Narumigata' made many flowers today. The lavender is attractive in combination with the yellow leaves.

Narumigata turned pink at noon. Still nice to see.

Love the Narumigata Joseph. The color is fantastic!
