Sorry about my bad writting skills.
No thatsNOT from our small black bin.
This pile is rom the town. They compost year leaves and debris and its free to residents for a delivery charge.
This is last years leaves and krap. Landscaper clued me in as to when to order it. He said the November compost was this years leaves and wasnt decomposed much.
It makes sense when you think of it.

I wish somebody around here did too, but nobody seems to. I've called my township, city, county - even the garbage companies. This isn't a very "green" area. Most yard waste goes to the land fills.

We have a huge pile of compost that we had delivered a couple of weeks ago as well!
Dave posted it here: The thread "Compost!" in Soil and Compost forum

There's just something satisfying about seeing a giant mount of compost ready for gardens, isn't there??

I too use compost for both vegetable and flower gardens.
The only chemical fertilizers I use is on my roses.
