Does anyone have a reference cite to herbal recipes? Not any thing specific per say but one to refer to.

The reason I ask is because I was researching info on passiflora incarnata and read several places that it was good for anxiety and insomnia. Just curious how much you would need to ingest to help. I know there are lots of plants like this and I'm sure I grow several of them like most people. Every where I've looked they just want to sell you pills. Why would I need to buy their pills when I grow the plants in my yard Shrug!

Try googling it with medicinal or so?

For cooking I just do whatever I feel like and really? With my medicinal stuff it's the same story --till I'm familiar with something I try a little if I'm courious I reference iplant (iOS app) or any of my many books on the topic

Don't know a thing about the medicinal uses, but if you can't find a plant I can get you fresh seed - I have hundreds.

Now that I've said that, I better go check and see if they're still alive!

Lovey dubby Thank you Sheryl, your very sweet to offer but I have several plants. Hopefully you'll have some cats on yours too.

Aw, you're welcome.

I do have a ton of fritillary butterflies, that's probably where they're coming from.

Usually Google has some pretty good ones. They often lead to other forums with their recipes, but it's not like it's a crime to get information from another forum. xD

Sharon has written many articles on uses of different plants, weeds, foods, etc. I read in one of her articles that celery was good for insomnia.
