And my fathers snail hootch!

He would bring those snails in and they would be climbing the kitchen walls! I thought ALL the kids had snails.

People try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved

FYI, Just the latest. Since the grass has grown and the plantlife in the garden has increased ,there have been no sightings of the slime.

Well you all have convinced me to avoid the stuff! It sounds like a good product if all goes well, but look out if you make a mistake!

Oh JoAnn that is funny.

I love the stuff. Those coir hanging pots are death traps if you do not use something to keep them moist.

When I was working I traveled every week. I was out of town 250 days a year. I would come home to dead plants on my patio. That was when I started using the diapers in the bottom of the coir pots. It works... you do not place them on top of the soil you open the fabric that holds the moisture and place the plastic part next to the coir and put your soil on top and then plant. Once a week watering and the plants stay moist.

Once I was out of town for two weeks and we had 90 degree temps and the soil did not dry out.

Cinta, thanks. I am using it for the first time. It's supposed to be a warm dry summer here.
