Right in the tent and there were about 12 giant folders. I will buy many more next year, but I bet the seasons will change this this year. I plan on at least 2 trips again

Thanks for sharing all of your pictures, Gabe.

Think the Sand & Sea one is mis-named, though. The database has no picture, but describes a blue and bronze Iris...............

The only pic I have seen of it has the yellow in all the same places, but more blue on the falls. It was taken in full sun so I am not sure it isn't correct. You can see the blue on the backside. All my iris that have a flush on light blue/pink/etc on the falls photograph as whitish in full sun. That said, Thelma's tags are not always reliable.

Regardless, I still like the iris currently known as Sand and Sea.

Les, I'm glad which ever one between 24 and 27 was in the alpha list. There wasn't anyway in H e double hockey stick I was attempting through that mess Thumbs down

I was able to meet Miss Thelma Boose herself too. Both daughters were there and we all sat and just talked for a while under the shade. Thelma then proceeded to take a nap due to our great conversation Rolling on the floor laughing She's in great spirits, but health dwindling unfortunately. She did mention how there were a few she wanted to order this year.

She's so old school she only orders Schreiners since Cooley's closed (I'm too new, but know they bought them out). Smart lady too since she only loves the look. She waits 2 to 3 year after an introduction so they're cheaper....uh yeah, not me.

After the conversation the sisters went to deadhead the rest of spent blooms and do a little more weeding. You should have seen the monster seed pods on some of these plants. If I only knew which one of the 2,000+ varieties knocked up the mothers I would have asked for a few. I was a great and short visit. I told them no disrespect, but I ain't coming back till next year. I'll also bring a crew with me a clear a row or two of weeds next spring.

I don't have time to post the pics of buys, but here's my actual list, not all are mine...unless someone shares 1 maybe. End of season means more giveaways Hurray!

Certainly! I plan to make it back there for sure.

And Gabe I am willing to go help weed a row or two! Just not all 64 rows!
