I will post pictures sometime next week. I got 8 new ones and one replacement.

Here is what I got from Thelma's:

Old Time Religion
Fancy Brass
Untamed Melody
Circus Stripes
After The Dawn
Flaming snow
Candy Counter
Gold Ring
Speckles
Coral Chalice

Speckles was the replacement and Circus Stripes was purchased for another NGA'er (that is still weird to "say"; I rather say ATP'er)

Greg - do you mean Spreckles or Speckles? I know that when Gabe and I went Spreckles was blooming like crazy. I need to get those pics posted tonight.

There is an iris named Speckles too, but it is a dwarf. I am sure you would have noticed the difference! Hilarious!

I have sooooo many pictures from Thelma's, but I have had sooooo little time to do anything. My grass was very high when I got home. I mowed it Sunday and I will need to mow it again tomorrow or Thursday.

Have a small rot problem too. When I left last week, we had 12 straight days of rain. I was told that only one day was without rain when I was gone! Sad Sunday & Monday were no rain days but today was supposed to be a "light" rain. That is not the case where I work (80 miles South of where I garden).

Rot:

Change of Pace (complete loss)

Partial

Bride's Halo
Emblematic
Masterworks

I have lost "Change of Pace" several times. Kind of a bummer since I fancy this type of Plicata

Greg, Emblematic has been struggling with rot for a couple of years here. It's till alive, but I don't know when it will bloom, as it keeps rotting in the bloom rhizome. I don't have Change Of Pace any more, so can't help you there, but I do have Bride's Halo and Pippi Longstockings if you need more. I've never had any issues with either of those.

We had two glorious days without rain, and now we have rain until next week. If my iris survive this I will be extremely happy. Sorry you are having rot issues too.

Leslie and Greg - I was over in Greg's newer Thelma thread thanking him for the photos. I'm documenting their historics so your pics are great to refer to as well. Thanks!

Ploid - I still have a few to post. I have tag pics for all I have already posted if you need locations. Her daughter Faye has a master book with all the iris locations too!

Ha! I told you you would get to see those peonies! Wish they had been in bloom when we were there.

Were those books in the tent? Dang, we sure could have used them!!!

Lovely pics Gabe. I really like Sand and Sea and American Beauty. If all these would have been in bloom, and with book access, I may have bought a lot more than I should have! Big Grin
