Thread OP

The golden sedum has like hairs on them how do you know which way to plant them ? Do you water them after planting them ? This is the first time I have planted these so I'm confused which is the root cause they have like white eyes on them also & I don't know how to plant them the right way so how do I plant them on my bank so they will become flowers & spread each year . My bank is red clay & rocky so when I plant them how far do I space them apart & do I need to use soil & how deep do I plant them ?

Hi and welcome! Welcome! you will definitely need to amend your soil a little. But here is where you can go to get all the answers you need about your sedum: search member goldfinch4 from the home page. Her name is Chris and she is very friendly. Or you can go to her sempervivum store:

Hope this helps! Terri

Hi GG1963 Welcome!

Would you be able to show us a picture of your plant? That would help us understand your question a little better. Do you have cuttings or a larger plant?

Terri is correct, if you have clay, sounds like you'll need to add some amendments to it. Or are there pockets in the rocky slope that you intend to plant in?

Looking forward to seeing some pictures.
