Perhaps I'm mistaken but one of the differences between these two genus is flower positioning. Datura blooms face upward and Brugmansia's are downfacing. Is this correct?
If so, there's a couple of pics in the datura database that need transferred to Brugmansia.
Nothing that's been done can ever be changed.

I think you're right. I did see some in the datura list that are definitelly Brugs. How do we get that corrected?

Yes, Brugmansia blooms hang down like this:

Datura's blooms point up:

This is why the former is called "Angel's Trumpet" while the latter is "Devil's Trumpet"

Probably the easiest way is for an administrator to move them, or could be requested by a questor, or could alert the poster. If you want you could go there, click the pic then see the options and ask it placed into the other genus. I think each such request, if approved, earns a half acorn. I'm fairly stocked up on corns, so go ahead if you like.

Can you link them here? I can move them. I didn't see any incorrect ones in either generic datura nand brug entry.

Any others?

Oopsie, that was me and I am totally unfamiliar with either plant (snapped a pic in Kauai). Thanks for catching the error, and many apologies.

Thanks. I may have just been sidetracked with the cool name 'zombie cucumber' and didn't do my due diligence! Always appreciate when others find/correct errors, along with the mini-learning experience to boot.
