Lovely photo. When we were young we used to grow something we called 'mother of thousands'. It certainly grew baby plantlets around the rim of its leaves. Do you know if it's the same plant?

Yes, @cliftoncat it's one of them. Several species of Kalanchoe make babies at the edges of the leaves like that. Others that come to mind:
Mother of Thousands (Kalanchoe 'Houghtonii')
Mother of Thousands (Kalanchoe delagoensis)
Donkey Ears (Kalanchoe gastonis-bonnieri)
Mother of Thousands (Kalanchoe daigremontiana)

Many other species make leaf edge babies if a leaf is removed from the mother plant, but not usually while still attached.
The golden rule: Do to others only that which you would have done to you.

I have a couple "mother of thousands" and they all produce their babies on their leaves just like this one you show. They are crazy plants that remind me of alligator jaws nodding

Thank you, Tiffany. I'll see if I can find one next time I go plant shopping.

Hilarious! Hilarious! Brea, I guess they could also be said to look like alligator jaws!

@WildSucculentDreams, did you get a chance to take a pic of those blooms?

@Cliftoncat, if you weren't on the other side of the pond, you'd be welcome to a box of them this fall! I won't have room for all of them.
