The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.

I had to look back at my photos taken months ago to remember how beautiful those DD's Delight flowers were as they fully opened. Typically, that full unfurling took less than 24 hrs. I have lots of (so far) unnamed seedlings with inflo. I sure hope I'll have some great flowers with those. In fact, I think one will bloom for the first time today.

The oldest are now 2 1/2 years old (that's DD's Delight and two others, one of which is beginning to bloom), but I have started a few seeds here and there since then. The Kathryn's Fuchsia Fantasy is now a 2 year old, and has been in almost constant bloom for 9 mo. I started a handful last fall and those seedlings are now 6-12" tall. I am just beginning to start some seeds from K's FF and have two seeds that have germinated so far. She was the first plumeria I have ever had that produced seed-pods, and I have grown plumeria for almost 25 years. I am looking forward to see if these seedlings from her will be as record-breaking as the "mother" seedling. That K's FF bloomed at 14 mo. and produced seed-pods at 17 mo.

I have some seedlings that are now almost 6' tall and are 2 yr. old plants, and their height range from this 6' down to those 6-12" ones.

That's a nice one, Steward/Cindy. That's going to be what I call a "yellow". Many people call the Celadine a yellow, but it is really a white.

My wife was outside, camera-in-hand, and she caught me taking cuttings (22). This is the "Plumeria Patch 2016". The first photo is the "Patch" as seen on May 6. The last photos were taken a little while ago. I should have made my pathways wider. They looked plenty wide back in May. The tips and leaves are already filling in those pathway spaces. I gained a little space back after the cuttings were taken.

The cuttings are bundled according to variety.

I've had my plumeria for three years now, this is the first year since I bought it to have blooms again. It was blooming when I bought it in June 2013.

My Vet. says that a "Heinz 57" pet is far healthier than one that is pure-breed. Perhaps the same with plants?
