Hi Mark, it's nice to see another cacti lover! You have some nice plants. Some of those prickly pear will need to be moved before they get too large. As you probably know, they grow quickly, and can get very large. I'm always impressed by their beautiful blooms, and how many you can have on a single plant!

Do your small globular cacti stay out all year in your location? My sister has her cacti indoors and she is somewhere near you. I don't think she's ever tried leaving them out all year.

One of those appears to be a "paper cactus" type. I have a couple in my garden here in Reno, NV. They fall apart at the slightest breeze so never get big. But you always have new pieces to plant and share. Smiling

Daisy, you just reminded me to go check my paper cactus. When it was young, it was full of pretty white paper spines and did fall apart easily. Mine is now about 13 years old, and the paper spines are almost gone. It is very strong now, and only drops a piece occasionally. I went out and gave it a good whack, and nothing fell.
