I tell you, I can never leave that place without buying something. I always joke that I could work there for plants. They have an amazing rock garden selection, too. I will check with them to see if I can get a list of plants. I will also take my camera to take some photos. Maybe I can convience them to sell online. If not, I can always ship. If plants are bought in flats, the price is discounted. If I remember correctly. a flat of 4.5"(12 plants) is 72.00 and a flat of 3.5" is 64.00 (18 plants). Drooling

Hey there! Lynn, if you go to www.timberlinegardens.com/blog/# Scroll down until you see the 2011 Annual and Perennial List. You can download the plant list from there. Unfortunately, they do not have the Semps listed. Drooling

Well Sandi, you're in luck - they're hiring! This is from their website: "We're hiring to fill seasonal positions
in the Perennials & Annuals and Nursery departments. Drop in and fill out an application today!" That would be a fun place to work. Thumbs up

I had found their list already - what an inventory! Too bad they don't have their semps listed, but it sounds like they have so many it would take forever. Looking forward to seeing picture from you next visit there.

It would be great, at first. Then the drudgery sets in, and the boss just gives you the awful jobs. And even propagation gets old, after you take cuttings off twelve kinds of roses, thousands upon thousands of each. Been there, done that. In the rain.

It hardly ever rains here in Colorado. It would be out in the baking sun!! No cover and very little water! Rolling my eyes.

This is my first experience with receiving Orostachy in it's dormant state. They shrivel up to nothing in the winter time, it was frightening to watch. I thought the ones I got last year as beautiful potted plants were dying. But sure enough as soon as warmer weather arrived they started growing and filling out again. It prepared me for my little dried up, dormant mail order plants. This is such an amazing species of plant. Lovey dubby

Sandi they just amazing me. They were miniscule and dried up when they arrived in their dormant state. Boy when they get water and warmer weather they get busy. Such interesting plants. Thank you twit for introducing me to them. Group hug

Sandi, DH arrived in Denver this afternoon. Maybe next time I will go with him and we can meet up. Hurray!

Is DH here on business? That would be lovely if we could meet up! I would enjoy the company of another sempaholic!!

One of the orostachy that I bought a few weeks ago, looked like it had a twig in the pot. Out sprouted a dozen or so very tiny rosettes. Incredible!

Hurray! That's what I was talking about Sandi. The ones I carried through winter disappeared, just shriveled up to nothing. I thought I lost them. So glad I didn't clean the area out. Come warmer spring weather it seems they grew overnight.

It was an emergency trip for DH. His sister is having health problems. Very sudden. She found out Tue. afternoon, he was on the plane Wed at noon. We were suppose to take a car trip to Denver this summer to visit her.

I can't wait to order more plants from Mesa Gardens. I am so happy with these little jewels.
The Orostachy from Mesa Gardens has really been growing since it warmed up. We are now in the high 50's at night and anywhere from the 60's to the 70's for day time temps.
