ATP plant database has no picture:
Miniature Dwarf Bearded Iris (Iris 'Star Caper')

Found a picture on the internet that looks like the one I have:
http://winterberryirises.com/m...

I think the miniature bearded iris I have is Star Caper. How do I submit it for the "experts" Hurray! to verify?

Here are MY pictures:
It's the last bloom of the season (zone 5a) so these are the best I can offer.
It does have a height as listed for Star Caper.

Why do you think its a bearded iris? It looks to be a member of the Iris family but I can't see bearded iris.

Did you ever know the name of the iris, (in other words if you heard the name would it ring a bell?) do you have any old order receipts that would show it? Sometimes if it wasn't too long back a seller will keep a record of what was sold to whom.
where did you obtain it, how much did you pay for it, and how long have you had it? Does it have purple based foliage? What does it smell like ect.

I got it from a friend and she did not have the name. I don't know if it has a fragrance. I got the feeling that she had the iris for a long time. She gave it to me at least 4-5 years ago. I don't think it has purple based foliage. I'll have to check that tomorrow morning.

@grannysgarden specializes in the mini bearded, perhaps she can give a few suggestions. Maybe @tveguy3 can also give some ideas. But there may be many mini yellows over the years so guessing by photos is never a sure way to ID an iris, unless it has some unusually distinct feature.
