I got it from Chris and I just love it. This is what it looked like in May of this year.

Watch out! I think Ali may have some triffid blood in it, the way it grows. Rolling my eyes.

Oh no, this is the time of year triffids start getting bad, isn't it. I'll have to keep my eye out for them.

Chris, you may be right. I spent 6 hours working in the garden yesterday and found some suspicious bites after I went in the house. Good thing I didn't stay out after dark. Whistling

I worked out in the beds yesterday with my daughter. Both of us came in tired and a little itchy. I thought it was from the dust, but bet it was from contact with triffids. Sad
DD was to busy watching for rubber snakes in the bed to notice if there were any triffids and I was to busy trying to assure her the rubber snakes would not hurt her. Gardening almost came to a halt when she came across a very nice snake skin right in the middle of the bed. Whistling
As twit has warned us in the past, we did not stay out after dark. Thumbs up
All is well. Big Grin

I put out some rubber snakes to try and keep the robins off of my aronia this year. The robins would perch right in front of them to eat the berries, as if laughing at my attempts to dissuade them. I often wonder about baiting a mouse trap with blueberries or cherries, to see what would happen. I'm such a softie, never tried it, but sometimes I still dream about ways of moving the robins out. I tried spraying with grape koolaid this year, supposed to repel birds. It may have worked for a few hours. The robins do a lot of damage. I've noticed they will chortle to each other while eating my small fruit. "Hmmm, that was a nice one, I think I'll try another, chortle, what do you think? try one of these"

&%#@ rats with wings! Angry I'm hoping to find a realistic looking cat toy or sculpture for the garden. Robins around here hate cats and will screech at them from high up in the trees for hours.

Chris is right, twit is the expert when it comes to triffids. I have had some close encounters with them but have not had the opportunity to really study their habits. I have tried several things to keep them from setting up housekeeping in my yard. Only time will tell if it works.

Lemon Babies is starting to grow, even with putting some size on they are so tiny. I should have taken a picture with something for reference. They really make me think of lemon custard. Such sweet little things. Lovey dubby

Hopefully it will be a good producer. It has taken all this time to finally grow healthy roots and stop trying to die. It is in full sun.

It is so tiny and it kept trying to shrivel up and turn to brown dust. Guess it has decided to stick around. : )

And I think I lost both rosettes. The jury is still out on whether or not there are one or two offsets growing between the dead leaves of the bloom stalk. Sighhhhh.
