I went out and took a photo Mary. There is one tiny Raspberry Ice down in the middle of the bloom stalk. Now if it will just grow and thrive I will be very thankful.

I am really loving this S. 'Zulu' that I got from Chris. I find the color so interesting at this time of the year.

Oooh and look at all those nice little offsets.

I need to take some pictures. The semps are starting to color up nicely, plus I've picked up so many new ones from the sale tables. Royal Ruby is a nice new one.

The Zulu offsets are so plump, even though they need water.

Mary I finally got the Raspberry Ice photo to work. And I think it is really a viable offset. I feel like I should go out and sleep beside it at night to protect it.

With my luck, I'd roll over on it and squash it!

That little one looks just fine to me. Momma gave it all she had. This one will have you holding your breath all winter! Do I see another itty bitty one below it to the right?

I don't know if I'd call it a top five yet, but here's my brand new Royal Ruby that I got for $1, in a brand new hypertufa pot.

Tabby can you take a close up of the rosettes and post it in the database. We don't have a photo of that stage in color. What a deal, I love the color at that stage.

Lynn, Make sure he sees the movie by the same name - he will never even think about going near that part of the yard, if he can manage to watch the whole movie.

How do you get a squirrel to sit still long enough to watch a movie twit?
Our cat used to bring squirrels home for dinner, she is way to old now for that kind of shopping.

Did I show you the one lonely little offset growing on the Raspberry Ice bloom stalk? I try not to take up it's breathing space, but I find myself hovering over it.

Here's a closer pic of Royal Ruby. I did make the hypertufa pot, along with about 30 others. Some of them have just finished soaking in a water bath after curing so I'm planting them.

I prertty much always line my pots with plastic bags, and cure the pots wrapped up for about a month. I often use vermiculite nowadays as well as perlite. I give the pots a long soak to leach out the surface lime before planting.

The colors are wonderful in the Royal Ruby. It looks like it even has some watermarkings. Insiderart would love that one.

Oh, Chris, I forgot to add that recently I've also picked up Virgil, Black Prince ,Dame Arsac, Olivette, Cherry Frost and Green Gables, all for $1 each.

I need to post a picture of Olivette. It's HUGE and healthy.

Those are all such great semps Tabby, I can't wait to see the photos. And only a $1.00 each. That was really the buy of the year.
