Sorry Marilyn, that part had a bug that I didn't know about til this morning. It's now fixed.

I reported that last night in my 'Broken' thread, I did find a way around it after my initial panic!

I should have been more clear. I didn't know about it because I went to bed without checking the threads last night.

This is one limitation that I cannot currently overcome. The search system will not include words that have less than 3 letters, so the words oh and my are completely ignored.

It's not something that I currently have any control over because I'm using a third party software system as the backend engine for the search engine.

I have a lot of work to do to tighten up search and provide a bunch of different search engines.

Something weird happened to me earlier. I saw a new entry "Cat Tails" and remembered that I had a pic. to add. After I found the pic I searched for Cat Tails and it came up as no results. I knew it was there!! I'd seen it. I ended up having to go to the persons profile and find their photo of Cat Tails. Later, when I searched for it, there it was no problem....

Uh oh. Wonder how many other names would fit it that category?

New entries take a while to show up in search, but you can browse for them and find them as soon as they're created.

This is one that has been in the database since the beginning Zuzu. It has to do with not having enough letters in it's name for the search engine to pick it up.

They've been there (Cat Tails) all along...migrated over from Cubits.

Had the same thing happen with a Hoya I tried to search for. Got a not found message yet when I went through all of the Hoyas one by one there it was.

If the search is playing games it could account for a lot of the duplicate entries we've been seeing.

If you could show me an example where the search isn't finding a specific term, that would be hugely helpful to me.

Next time it happens I'll post you a link.
