And I have seen this happen also...

The system message icon lights up, I click on it only to find that the message had not yet arrived in my folder. What's there instead is the last message(s) which show up again as being new. So I click on "view past system messages" under those old ones and that's when the most recent one pops up...it had arrived by then.

I'm wondering whether I get multiple alerts for the same message because sometimes I have more than 1 window going for NGA.

Here's a message I got 3 times but don't remember how many windows I had up for NGA at the time. I don't think it was more than one:

On July 4th I received this message before 1pm, at 2:31pm and 2:34pm. Each time I exited out of the system message only to have the alert icon be lit again and the same message showing up after clicking onto message icon.

But receiving the same one message with the 3 thumbs up together at three different times? A while back, I also have gotten one message five times over and over again from same member about the same post. It doesn't seem quite right to me. It seems repetitive.

I sent an email about thumbs up problems. Had not heard back.
Post #1199147 The post in the thread TEXAS WEATHER shows I have
Two thumbs up but my message system says three Grammachar, froggardner, and Thomas75 My total count is off, too.
The other issue I had I would give thumbs up, it would go grey, but later meaning hours or next day it would be green At first I thought I was crazy, but later wondered if it was tied to the above problem.
Thank you and may you be blessed with joy and happiness this month!

This never happened to me before windows 10 hijacked my laptop while I was sleeping. I think that is the problem. No problems with the cell phone just on the laptop with new windows. Grumbling
I am not computer savvy so I will live with it.

Since I started going through Google Chrome it has not been happening
I believe it is Win 10, because like some of y'all it never happened on any of my other devices, just the computer

I wonder if the issue is not Internet Explorer but rather Windows 10 Edge browser? Windows Edge browser has a thicker looking "E" and is probably the icon you are clicking from your main screen. If you click to select your programs and search for Internet Explorer - test to see if the issue occurs there.

I have just heard of some other issues with people using the Edge browser at work, this is the only reason I bring this up

It's 7:37 and I'm still getting thumbs up alerts from the same thumbs given at 4:59 and 4:12. I've exited out of the messages countless times but just got the same one again. Mention above about Windows 10 reminded me that I switched over to it in early Spring. I'm running Windows 10 but am using Internet Explorer, not Edge.

I bet it's IE, it's been problematic. Try a new browser, Chrome or Firefox maybe.
