It is most unusual for me to have blooms this early, but here is Kiss My Grits.

Daylily weather! And lots of blooms here now.

'Christmas in OZ', one of my new purchases:

Edit. This is 'Green Arrow', not 'Spider Miracle'. Those pots are side by side and the foliage has mixed together and I didn't pay enough attention to where the scape was from. So this is the pollen parent of the seedling.I was pleased that {edit - not 'Spider Miracle'}, left, overlapped with bloom on the seedling I have of (Cat's Cradle X Green Arrow), right. I think it's the cultivar I have that the seedling most resembles, but they aren't the same.

'Monocacy Summer Mist' is distinctive in appearance even when being viewed from the side.
Thumb of 2016-06-01/needrain/769a15

'Primal Scream' has started blooming but 99% of my photos of it just turn out awful. The buds, however, turn orange early in their life so you get some color from the plant long before the blooms open and the camera did better on the buds Smiling .
Thumb of 2016-06-01/needrain/ba6115

'Whip City Dapper Dan', left. I think I'll move that 8" potted seedling of (Dizzy Damselfly X French Twist), center, and set it up by ol' Dan because I'm not liking it next to 'Big Honking Brazen Hussy', right. I'm infatuated with the ol' hussy and getting more so every day.

I posted this one on the "Show Me your Minis" forum. I am particularly intrigued by that "glowing" green throat.

First I must apologies for having to share these as some catch midday thru afternoon sun and are not looking their best.

However, new in the garden today & FFE is,
'Regal Finale'

Also with a little bit better bloom is,
'Blonde Goddess'

'Moses Fire'

'Christmas Ribbon' seems a bit smaller this year.
Thumb of 2016-06-02/GaNinFl/29ea6c

Also, revealing its face today and FFE was 'Chicago Apache' However, the bloom is barely above the ground and barely open. I will share as I know it will improve in a few days.

This CV was shared last month but I just had to show todays photo of 'Premier Surprise'.

What a lovely way to start off a new month! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

I only have 1 new named daylily blooming today:

Whooperee (which is a really large, bright red bloom):

Thumb of 2016-06-02/beckygardener/b71d17

Edited to add another new one to bloom in my garden yesterday ....

I hope this one eventually looks like Vickie's clump (which is beautiful):

Moving the seedling sure benefited its appearance Smiling . I don't know what it's supposed to be, but 'Whip City Dapper Dan' measured 9-10" using the formula Fred gave somewhere in this forum. The seedling was about 1" less

There are rebloom scapes coming up among these blooming scapes of 'Lillian's Vapor Trail', which is normal as it has grown here. Also have rebloom scapes up on 'Orange You Clever'. Be nice if it turns out to be as willing as 'LVT'.

2 FFO's here in west central Indiana today!

Neither are looking their best as we had a heavy downpour of rain back on Saturday. Pure Indulgence is on probation this year. It increased very well this winter but if the bloom appearance does not improve this year it will find a new home.
