Nice, Ann! We used to have lots of rabbits around, but a bobcat wandered into the neighborhood last year, and they all disappeared. I've started seeing a handful of bunnies again this spring, so they're making a comeback.
The ebb & flow of nature. I'm glad you're seeing them again.
We just love rabbits!!! We're always so happy every time we see one because then we know they haven't all been gotten by something.

My cycle is either a bunny-year or coyote-year. Haven't been hearing too much howling this year, and seeing lots of bunnies, so it looks to be a bunny-year.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.

We love our rabbits but we love our fox too. Fox can have squirrels --- we have LOTS of those.

DH and I love the Eastern Cottontail rabbits too! So cute!
I looked out my home office window this morning, and caught this little guy, just grooming himself then taking a quick nap before disappearing. Pardon the fuzziness - the picture was taken through blinds, a screen and the window itself, so I'm surprised you could see it at all

Rabbits are driving me to distraction... chewing the stems of the blackeyed susans, and leaving piles of 'picked' flowers to wilt in the scorching sun...
When I set out the squash plants... something immediately started eating them down to nubs... I was blaming the rabbits... until I figured out that it was the gopher tortoise... My bad, turtle can have all he wants.
