Are you going to try and pollinate it to see if you can get a pod?

This is the fist time that I have tried this and I have no clue if this will work. From reading and/or watching videos

I took a Q-tip - A 2-inch piece of 15 lb fishing line
Taped the fishing string to the Q-tip - leaving about 1.5 inches of string
Placed the fishing line down the throat of the flower til it hit bottom
Brought the string back just little bit
Spun the q-tip so that the string went around in circles
Pulled it out and went to another flower (I did four flowers and will see what will happen)

So what that does is two things - it drops the pollen down and you hope that it takes and starts to produce a seed pod and the second thing it does is takes the left over pollen to another flower.

Who knows if it will work but I tried four of the Smiling

Jeff, I'm glad your son is healing. I know how scared you all must have been! If this is any comfort at all, my daughter had a bad accident 10 years ago, when she was 18. She's got the assortment of pins and screws in her right hip and right ankle. Doc said she would probably have a slight limp once she healed. The recovery was H*ll, but she was determined. Not only does she not have a limp today, but she ran a half marathon at Disney this past February. Just wanted to send some good thoughts and virtual hugs to you and your wife... Group hug

Your son's good health and young age is a boon for him. He will heal fast. Never say never. My husband lost his left pelvis bone to bone cancer. They said he'd never walk again. Cancer's gone and guess who's walking! If your son can get into some good PT and works hard, you just never know! Best wishes on a full recovery. ... Oh! And some more blooming plumeria never hurts. Get to work, Dad!

Hoping the best for your son, Jeff. It's tough for him, but tough for family too. My DH has had a traumatic couple of years health wise and I find that GARDENING is a wonderful diversion! Like Ken said, retirement is great. Take advantage of it and take time for yourself too...hopefully, resulting in more plumeria reports for us! Group hug

So I could not wait any longer !! I had to go look for the closest flower in the Database to my first flower..I know it is probably not true to its color at this age and my photos are pretty ugly because of my ugly photo taking phone.. I swear this flower looks exactly like Scarlet Night....Could that be possible? they have the same shape petals and the flower has a slight Orange to the center my goofy phone camera won't pick up..

Jeff, perhaps you have a friend or family member who has a good camera or smart-phone, who could take some photos and let you upload them to your computer. You also can check on eBay and Amazon for deals on outstanding, though outdated, cameras. There are lots to chose from. Some of them were top-of-the-line cameras just a couple of years ago, but like smart-phones, those models become obsolete as newer models are introduced. Those older models still produce absolutely remarkable photographs.

Your absolutely right Ken !! I'm going to get a new digital camera today...I always try to work with what I have, but with some things that is just impossible...I'm biting the bullet !! Does anyone have good ideas on half way decent cameras?
