Thanks everyone, Melanie I think you are right. the camera doesn't do this little guy justice it's color was such a vibrant lime. I can't believe I haven't seen any before we have tons of Partridge Pea around here and they say that's the host plant but I've never even seen a Cloudless Sulphur cat before looking it up. thanks again everyone Thumbs up

Freaking Tussock Moth cats decimating a ton of my Showy milkweed. I didn't kill them though. Gathered and tossed elsewhere. Being a Master Naturalist I acknowledge and appreciate the entire cycle of life. Mostly. nodding

I draw the line though at aphids and Japanese beetles. They get no mercy. The JB are terrible this year - last thing I found they were destroying is my Dynamite Crape Myrtle of all things.

JB's have just about eaten my Blackberry to zero , Had to spray as I could not find the Bags , Darn things

Try milky spore to control JB's it last years with just one application. I wish they would do a fly over and drop it out a plane all over SC Smiling
