I've joined the Sedum "Tile" bandwagon. I found this one at Costco 20" X 16" for $12.

Since the plants are rooted into a flexible mat, I was able to cut it up with the scissors into different shaped chunks. This way I could space them out and cover up a pretty good sized area. The variety of plants is quite diverse.

Really cool Diana. Such a pretty little bloom on that one plant. So how are you going to use them? You are so creative thinking, can't wait to see what you do. Thumbs up

I got some of those tile mats also but got them at Lowe's. They are really neat to work with I also have that one blooming right now and don't know what it is. I used the tiles in these tufa pots and they are filling in really nice!
Looking forward to seeing what you did with your! Rolling my eyes.

It's kind of hard to see in a picture what I did with my sedum tile. I used it as a ground cover on a sloped bank by my greenhouse front door to keep the soil from washing down onto my concrete slab.

Fantastic!
Looking really nice and what a smart idea to help keep the soil in place. They should fill in the area nicely and low maintenance too. Thumbs up

Wow Diana, you have really been busy. I know the slope you are taking about by your green house. What a great way of solving the problem. When those sedum get going it will form a wonderful tapestry of color and hold the soil.
Great pictures. What is that unusual looking plant in post # 289121 at about 11:00 in the pot. It is intriguing.

Lynn,

The plant in the mixed pot at the 11:00 position in post #289121 is a crassula.

Baby's Necklace 'Giant Pagoda' Crassula perforata

Probably not hardy in our winters. Several of the ones in that pot wouldn't be winter hardy.

That will be one that gets to live in my potting shed for a few months next winter.

It will have plenty of company in there Rolling my eyes.

Diana you sure have some beautiful pots going. And planting sedum on the slope is a great idea.

Kin, those pots filled in nice. Those tiles sound like a good deal. I haven't seen anything like that around here.
