Leftover chicken is not the only item that is used from this quick dinner. The container from a store-bought rotisserie chicken may be used for seed germination.

You can also use containers from some pre-washed lettuce manufacturers. While the tops are flat, as opposed to domed, and the bottoms are also flat, as opposed to ridged, they are still suitable for starting seeds. You can fit 2 x 4" pots in there, or a large 6-pack. The containers may be made from recycled plastic (depending on the manufacturer), and they are recyclable into your recycle bin, once you are done with them. Best of all, no icky nasty grease to scrub out, before you can use them! https://www.iloveorganicgirl.c...
Evaluating an iris seedling, hopefully for rebloom
