I have had nothing but great success with my SMG plants. They have a great variety also. When I come back I'll contact them and see if they will give a discount for a group buy.

The 6 small plants of SEDUM telephium Picolette that I just have to have.

I better start working on my planting. The rest of those sedums are still not planted yet and they have been sitting on the back stoop patiently waiting.

The SEDUM telephium Picolette arrived from Bluestone today. Small plants like the first order of Lynda Windsor but I was expecting that. Another bone dry plant order. I watered them and they are sitting out on the back stoop. They are not as dark out of the box as the Lynda Windsors were. We will see if they darken up and how much.

At this rate I would be afraid to order regular perennials from Bluestone. The plants would have died from being too dry by the time they arrived.

My local nursery had a few Sedum Autumn Delight 'Becka' http://perennialresource.com/e... and I snatched up 7 to mass in my garden. This showy upright sedum has chartreuse-yellow leaves with a narrow, blue green, serrated margin. In late summer, cream buds open to large clusters of light pink flowers which almost completeley cover the entire clump of foliage. Makes good cut flowers & attract butterflies.

Susan you are a great garden detective. We have that in the Sedum Database. Would love to have pictures from yours add. Right now all we have it one picture. Would be great to get some pictures in the bud stage and mature bloom stage if you could. Thumbs up
It is a gorgeous plant, one of my favorite upright sedum. So far I haven't seen it offered here. The one in the database is what I planted for my DIL back in VA. Big Grin

The photos in my thread came from http://www.greatgardenplants.c.... When they start to bloom I will get some shots from my garden. When I bought them (I'm a chartreuce freak) I thought, I better not be blowing the budget on a plant that is going to revert. It's been planted for about 3 weeks and so far it is fabulous. I look forward to sharing the late summer/fall bloom.

I really look forward to seeing those pictures Susan. Hopefully my DIL will take pictures of the two pots I did for her later this summer. I'm interested in seeing how the combination works out.

Rita, how are your new sedum doing? I just got a bunch of new ones in Fri. All are the low growing type though. I have looked for some of the tall ones in our local nurseries, all they are caring is Autumn Joy. I'll keep looking, still a few I haven't been to yet this year. : )
Hope yours are all doing well.

They are doing really great! That Lynda Windor is so nice and dark, I love it. I just am so busy with all the spring planting that I can not keep up. No time to do too much on the computer until I catch up some.

I am playing catch up also. Can only do so much at a time though, and then have to take a break. That's one of the things I miss about being young.
