Can anyone ID this sedum?
I dug it at a friends and she didnt know what it was. Blooms are beautiful lavender pink



I took these pix with a screensaver in mind.I will post a fuller view of the plant when its daylight

It sure is a lovely sedum. And all your others are wonderful Jo Ann. I particularly like the way you put Royal Purple with Euphorbia Bonfire together.

It sure looks like it. I saw the plant this spring and cant remember if the leaves were variegated.

I think it could be Brilliant, which is quite common. I've never seen Crystal Pink, but Brilliant is sold by almost all the garden centers around here. It does quite well for me.

Brilliant seems to be a little bit pinker and has more serration on the edges of the leaves.

Thanks Lynn .I thought so too but only have Google to compare with.
CP has smooth leaves and they seem to have a minute white edge. I have posted it as CP on the database.
The woman I got it from had just moved into the house in April.She hates perennials ( I know,who would think) She had been hacking this garden down all summer so it's hard to tell the height of the plant or any verigate features.
I saw it in May when I designed her deck planters. It was small and I thought I saw veriagate but I was planting Livingston Daisey at that time and may have them confused.

Checked a plant farm that carries CP height is listed as 10-12 inches.Anyone know if thats true?

I added more information in the database Jo Ann. CP is one of the lower growing ones to about 12 inches, 16 inches with flower height.

I cant believe how versatile it is.Because of the late bloom and height.

It is a most awesome plant. And it will increase easily for you. It is also one that will do well in larger containers.

I am at the point of over riding the imposed moritorium on planters.The kids have given me looks for keeping all the ones I have.
I might just plant a 12 incher with the sedum.

Jo Ann you have me puzzled; is Sedum Royal Purple maybe Purple Emperor? I googled Royal Purple and nothing. That's one I have never heard of.

Well an Emperor is Royalty. Sounds like something I would do.

We just cant believe any labels anymore.I changed 2 files back to 2009.
