Thanks Juli but Trish gets all the credit for this. I wasn't going to do it at all but she prevailed upon me with logic. She predicted that there were MANY people who would use thumbs more if they had a separate feature for bookmarking stuff.

It turns out that she was right (of course!)

Sometimes I use the thumbs up to move a databse image forward so this is perfect to have a separate bookmark feature.

"Star This" resonated for me, because the company I work for does a variety of software and hardware for the avaiation industry. We recently came up witth an ad campaign that summarizes each division as two words:

"Stop This!" (braking)
"Sense This!" (proximity sensors)
"Power This!" (DC power supplies)
"Move This!" (motion controlers for fancy-fancy first-class seats"

The engineers would rather have called the first-class seat division "Sit On This!" but we were shot down.

Our team picked out own internal motto for a stressfull 5-year project (for braking a rather large jet so it could stop on shorter runways):
"Make it stop!!"
