The leaves are much too small to be K. daigremontiana.
Mother of Thousands (Kalanchoe delagoensis)

Tiffany, could this one be the same one you just caught of mine that I proposed to move over to Mother of Thousands (Kalanchoe 'Houghtonii') ?

The leaves in the pic in question look round in cross-section, which wouldn't fit with K. x houghtonii which has a thin but flat leaf. It fits with K. delagoensis, syn. tubiflora (which is how I remember that one, the leaves are tubular.)

I'd asked either @plantladylin or @flaflwrgrl before I posted the two pics to this database in 2006, so I'd get the correct database plant listing, since they're both FL residents and these two pics were taken while we were on vacation in FL and visited Ft. De Soto Park.

I really hope they stay here and the pics aren't moved to another database listing. If that's the case, then I want to be the one to do it please.

Hi Marilyn! Did you have a chance to take a look at the pics under the K. delagoensis/tubiflora entry? They have a distinct shape to the leaf, tubular/round in cross-section.

Booker's plant in the K. daigremontiana entry may be a faded/etiolated K. daigremontiana but all of the other pics (flower macros notwithstanding, quite a few species of Kal can't be distinguished by blooms alone) look like other plants to me. The name K. daigremontiana is a catch-all all over the internet for all kinds of Kalanchoes. It's difficult to find a pic of the real deal on a reliable source. I consider RHS to be one, and I have all of the plants in question except K. daigremontiana. It's not a common plant, compared to other Kalanchoes.

Yes I did. I noticed a pic of Lin's looking very similar (the flowers) to one of mine I took.

I agree, they do look the same. Your pics were posted to K. daigremontiana. Lin's pic is delagoensis.

LOL, I get so confused with some of these plants. If you find any of my plants in the wrong database location, feel free to move them to the correct spot.

These 2 are particularly confusing, long d-words. I wish tubiflora was the accepted (vs. delagoensis) for one of them.
