I took some new photos of 'Beautiful Edgings' this morning and it has made great improvements over the time since I made my first post here about it.
I had planned to pull and count the dead scapes but I have seed pods on several of them so I just pulled one scape that looked pretty typical of the rest, and it had no pod on it.
The scapes are much taller than listed, 40 inches with 2 way branching and 18 buds per branch. I found it odd that the terminal y branches were so long, the two measured 13 inches each. So the buds tend to be spaced out on it well, still when I look at the clump it always seems all the blooms are right at the top for some reason. This plant had done very well this year in my garden and really churned out a lot of blooms. I failed to record the date of the first bloom on it this year. But the original scapes have bloomed out, it is reblooming and it might even be the second rebloom with still more to come. Now the reblooms are smaller during the hot summer weather we are having, but they were beautiful and as large as registered earlier in the year.

Forgot to add a photo of the scape, and I wanted to show how long the the two terminal branches at the end of the scapes are on this plant. I think that is because it is a bud builder.
