It also has reddish hairs coming off the stem that are hard to see in the pictures,

Saying it looks like an Echeveria isn't terribly specific, there are so many. What a nice one!

Those hairs are aerial roots, meaning that the plant is sending out roots from its stem because it is in need of something, whether more water, more nutrients, or more light. (:
