That is really cute - is that an elm tree in miniature?

RRM is right - I don't care about much - you are not hijacking my thread! Thought that was what we were here for, to share our projects ideas....whine, shine, whatever. I hate to tell ya, but if I feel the need to vent, I tend to spew wherever I am - appropriate or not!

Everybody have a great day - the rain finally stopped and I am goin' outside. Got to put that mosquito stuff in all the standing water and bottle up the rain water.

Bottle up the rain water?
I am hoping I can get out in the yard today. I can't believe the rain and wind yesterday.
Chris, could you tell us the name of that elm again I forgot the name. Could you also post it in the Companion Plants Database? Sounds odd wanting a tree in the database for semp & sedum companion plants. Blinking But look what an awesome planting that is. Thumbs up

Charleen has talked me into playing with CPs, bog gardens and the like. Of course, we have to make it difficult for the newbie - CPs don't like faucet water - gotta have rain water. We may not see rain again until Sept. LOL Gotta get it while the gettin' is good.

I am a bad influence, sort of. I just want o spread the addictions like these wonderful plants. It is very easy to love different plants for different regions of your yard or wherever you want to garden. i love the topiarys but have not done one yet. Look it has got to get root and grow but here is my Sea urchin.

Think I will pass on the bog plant thing. We get enough bog conditions around here. Don't want to encourage it. Rolling on the floor laughing

That's why I don't venture out much - if I am invited, as I was to this Cubit, I know someone has already check the group out. I know that sounds horrible but there are so many that get all cranky about being off topic. If I had to stay on topic all the time I wouldn't have much to say at all.
From my perspective, the chats should be somewhat like they would be if we were hanging over the fence in the back yard. Let er fly!

Before my 80 something neighbor had a little stoke, we chatted about plants, gardening $%^ hole neighbors....what ever. Since the health problems she has become a little grouchy - we still chat, she just ain't real happy about it.

I am glad I found you guys - if you see a thread I started, jump right in there - I don't get offended and I don't take much seriously. Serious is for the attorney's and doctor's offices....everything else is pretty casual with me.

Awesome - been dragging my feet a little on pulling stuff up to send to y'all. I know how I started mine but that's probably not the best method.

I went along the wall where it was planted, pulled some off, stuck it in a plastic grocery bag, thew it in the back of the pickup, forgot it for a week, stuck in some potting soil, gave a quick drink and here it is - surviving!

Thank you, dear girl. You need to start a chat about all kinds of flowers so I can show you some Amaryillis I have blooming, I could put it in the Database, couldn't I and you would see it. This one starts out green and gets the prettiest pink tint to it. I know you will love it. Let me buzz on over.
