Well I did take a picture of my three plants the other day, so I better post them to see how they compare. The freezing mornings are making the leaves turn brown now. I don't think there will be any observable progress for picture until spring.

No more progress for me until next spring. Everything is nice and green but settling into dormancy so any further growth is at a stand still.

My irises look like those in Tom's last picture and they will look like that or slightly worse until the spring growth starts. The good thing? The weeds have stopped growing too! Thumbs up

Oh the weeds haven't stopped here. Even on a bed that I just finished and put Preen on is filled with tiny new ones growing, really gets me mad, but I guess some weeds aren't affected by it.

I never use any chemicals on my weeds, but I have to admit to being very tempted to try some on the Groundelder! Grumbling

I have a fine batch of clover trying to pop up in several of the gardens. Stuff doesn't care what season it is, it just keeps growing.

Glutton I am, but the iris deserve to be planted in real beds. And I made a huge new bed this year, and really expanded the back garden, but still have a huge pot ghetto. Somewhere along the way I must have gotten more iris than planned.....I ask you, how could that have happened?? Angel

I think it's something in the water! I know that some days I go to bed and wake up the next morning and Oh My, I've made an order and I just don't remember doing it. I'm sure it's like some kind of drug that's being put into the water. But of course they are such nice irises, I wouldn't dare cancel the order. Angel Rolling my eyes. I'm sure there's some kind of conspiracy ! Whistling

You know, maybe it is the iris themselves doing this. The drug isn't in the water, it is in their scent. Once it penetrates your brain you are hooked. There really is truth to the "iris virus".

Hilarious!
