Thanks, Barbalee, I just hope all six germinate. One thing I would like to accomplish with this cross is to have a Twirling Parasol with taller scapes. It is registered at 22" and this year we did get some that were a couple of inches higher..I tried crossing it with Lillian's Thin Ice (36") both ways but those crosses failed. So with FFS (32") maybe the children will be that tall, Crossing Fingers! Oh, the name is Twirling Parasol, no "s" on the end.

Keep us posted, Avedon! I'd be interested to see if the tall trait continues.

I would love it if the seedlings came up and managed to bloom next year, but when I did crosses a bunch of years ago, I seem to remember it was two years before blooms showed up. So it's a waiting game.

Whoa! That last one is so unusual. Might be a good one to consider for a future introduction. Very nice!

Looks like things are really winding down with the seedlings. A few reblooming.

This has bloomed non stop since the early May. I have two clumps of it so some
of the new scapes my not be rebloomers. It is still the best dip I have ever used for patterns.

This is also reblooming now and will make a seed pod everytime you put pollen on it.

This has been a big disappointment, have had it in the hybridizing area two years,
its pod and pollen fertile has a great scape but its still two fans and no rebloom.
Thumb of 2016-08-12/spunky1/a78ddb
Told you it had a great scape
