Yes, Jo Ann is a talented lady. Until that article came out on cubits, I would have thought her talents were limited to gardening. Smiling

I've spent more than half my life working in the art field. I know great art work when I see it, Jo Ann.

I love the stained glass that Alan and Ferenc showed, and I love the sculpture that Ferenc's wife made as well.
Amazing talent all around.

It is our area's turn for the cold weather advisory by Thursday night (03Nov)..though it has slowly started to feel cooler outside, at least no wind, actually very calm and still sunshiny. Most of my plants are left outdoors come what may, but I guess I will have to start bringing in my plumeria, desert rose and mini-cymbidium-this one has nice buds ready..maybe just in the garage for 2 nights, till the weather eases up again...

I will welcome cold weather with open arms. I've heard rumors of possible rain tomorrow or Friday, but you couldn't tell that by today's weather...dry, dry, dry...bit of a Santa Ana blowing. Mornings and evenings are beautiful, but middle of the day is hot. Enough already! I'm tired of watering. I dread the thought of a dry Winter. I thought I should bring some firewood up today to prepare for the cooler temps that must surely be on the way...but it's too hot to want to do that today....lol..

We are finally getting some snow. Two inches isnt much but I need enough to keep the rabbits and deer from continuing to find my Oriental Poppies.
The winter crowns have been chewed and if snow doesnt hide them quick I am affraid the chewing will get to the hearts.
