Hi. I was reading the June 2016 Fine Gardening magazine and it has a big section on Salvias. One of the top recommendations is a type called Caradonna (S. nemorosa). I'd like to get it. So I googled for Caradonna seeds and didn't get any true hits other than one person on eBay, which I'm not sure I trust.

Does anyone know of a good place to get these seeds? I would think that if it's such a top performing plant that it would be easy to get, right?

(I don't really understand the garden.org seed swap either. And I don't have any seeds to trade other than the little seed packets that I got at Home Depot)

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

p.s. I mis-typed the name in the title...it's Caradonna (not Carafonna)

Sage (Salvia nemorosa 'Caradonna') sure is a beauty! I googled and found this page: http://www.gpnmag.com/article/salvia-nemorosa-caradonna-pere... and near the bottom under Availability it says Cardonna has just been introduced to the market and may be difficult to find but it lists a couple of places that may carry it.

Hopefully other members who grow this lovely Salvia will be along soon to offer suggestions.

Bluestone seems to have plants in stock https://www.bluestoneperennials.com/SACA.html

There is also a Salvia sylvestris Caradonna listed http://www.highcountrygardens.com/perennial-plants/salvia/sa... wonder if it's the same.
I didn't see any Ebay seeds, just some on Etsy. Vendor seems to have great reviews.
