shows that these plants have tolerated much, and the water here is awful for plants and humans. it is saltier and more alkaline. if i want my hydrangeas to 'blue' up (no pun intended) i have to use a lot of acidifier, and have to be careful about burning the plants. i use a lot of coffee grounds as well, from friends and sometimes coffee houses.
